Due to the growing popularity of free riding, more and more boarders and skiers venture into the back country – for good skiers and boarders the fun starts where the piste ends.

If you are fit enough for a short ascent, want to hike up a peak and be the first one to put tracks into the snow, then join us on a ski or snowboard tour!

With our offer of rewarding day tours you will experience a fantastic day in the untouched  powder of the Ziller Valley Alps.

Requirements:  You are able to ski down red pistes safely without problems, You have already skied powder before

Rastkogel (2.762m)

Difficulty: Easy
Starting point: 8 man chair lift Horbergjoch
Ascent: Easy ascent over the Horbergjoch, quite steep ascent to the peak;
High metres for the ascent: 300 hm
Descent: Via the ascent track
Descent for good powder riders: North facing towards the Rastkogel hut or south facing towards the Geislerhof hut
High metres for the descent: 800 -1.300 hm
Duration: Approx. 4 hours

Hoher Riffler (3228m)

Difficulty: Medium
Starting point: Tuxerfernerhaus – Hintertux Glacier
Ascent: Over the Schwarzenbrunnerkees (glacier), at first a bit steep, then quite easy to the peak
High metres for the ascent: 620 hm
Descent: Over the Federbettkee's (glacier) in the direction of the Napf  peak, short ascent, descent via the Griererkar to the Grieralm hut
High metres for the descent: 1400 hm
Duration: Approx. 6 hours

Pangert (2250m)

Difficulty: Easy
Starting point: 8 man chair lift Horbergjoch
Ascent: From the Horbergjoch quite effortlessly to the peak
High metres for the ascent: 200 hm
Descent: Rewarding descents in all directions
High metres for the descent: 700 hm
Duration: Approx. 3 hours
